Robert J. Kollar, State Chairman & Financial Advisor
Bob Kollar is an Associate Professor of Practice, Accounting in the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business at Duquesne University, where he teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate accounting courses. Prior to joining the faculty of the School of Business in 2003, Bob worked for fourteen years (1983 to 1997) in the assurance practice of Ernst & Young. In 1997, he joined Schneider Downs & Co., a regional CPA firm located in Pittsburgh, where he was a senior manager until co-founding the accounting firm of KuhlemanKollar and Associates, CPAs in 2001. Bob received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Duquesne University.
Bob has served on the boards of a variety of non-profit organizations and is currently the State Chairperson of PA FBLA Collegiate. He previously served as Chairperson and Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the national FBLA organization.
Nicole McCartan, State Advisor
Nicole McCartan has dedicated over a decade to serving as an FBLA Advisor, leveraging a diverse background that spans business ownership, project management, marketing, direct sales, and education. She currently serves as the Executive Director of a nonprofit organization, manages marketing initiatives, and teaches part-time at Penn State University.
Nicole is proud to be a non-traditional, first-generation student. Nicole holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Marketing, and she is in the final stages of completing her Ph.D. She actively contributes to her community by serving on several boards and participating in numerous mentor and mentee programs.
Nicole’s personal mission is to be a spotlight for her children and a floodlight for young people, inspiring and empowering them to share their inner light and reach their fullest potential.
Mrs. Allison Althouse, State Advisor
Allison Althouse has been involved with FBLA-Collegiate since the 2016-17 academic year when she took over as chapter advisor for the Alvernia University chapter. She joined the PA State Committee as a State Advisor in the fall of 2022. Allison was a full-time faculty member teaching accounting at Alvernia until her retirement in May 2021. She majored in accounting and earned a BS in Commerce from Rider College, a Master’s in Business Administration from Rider College and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) . She has judged at both the PA State Leadership Conference level and upon retirement has judged at the National Leadership Conference level. Since retiring she and her husband enjoy spending time with their grandchildren and splitting their time between PA and Florida.
Felicia Daniel, State Testing Coordinator
Felicia Daniel is originally from Philadelphia, PA, but her family has called Indiana, PA home for the past two decades. She is a two time graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), holding both a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management and a master's degree in Adult and Community Education. Felicia currently works at S&T Bank as the AVP Training and Development Manager. As a lifelong learner with a passion for young leaders, Felicia has served with FBLA for almost ten years and loves helping others to build valuable skills. When Felicia is not teaching, she can be found exploring different cultures, reading books, or streaming a show with her husband.
Jennifer Johnson, State Advisor
Jennifer Johnson is a 2016 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she obtained a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Marketing and a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Economics. She has been involved with FBLA Collegiate since 2013 and FBLA High School from 2009-2012 prior. After serving on the Pennsylvania FBLA Collegiate State Board as an officer for 3 years, she has continued to serve as a State Advisor.
She currently works as an Internet Marketing Manager at WebFX in Harrisburg. Jennifer has been with WebFX since 2016 and resides in the Harrisburg, PA area with her husband and two daughters.
Michelle R. Conway, State Advisor
Michelle R. Conway, MBA is an award-winning entrepreneur, author, educator, and motivational speaker with a passion for empowering young professionals. She currently serves as an Instructor of Entrepreneurship and Management at Misericordia University’s College of Business.
Conway is the author of "If You're in Your Twenties, Read This," which encourages young professionals to embrace their unique journey, celebrate their inexperience, and transform. She is the founder of The Orange Butterfly Effect and host of The Orange Butterfly Effect Podcast.
With a deep commitment to business growth and individual development, Conway has mentored over 300 businesses in various critical areas, including business development, business planning, market analysis, leadership development, and strategic planning.
Conway actively engages in leadership activities and contributes to professional organizations. She serves as the faculty advisor for Misericordia's Business Professionals Association (BPA) and the Collegiate Division of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).
As a proud alumna of Wilkes University, Conway attained her MBA with a concentration in leadership and completed her undergraduate studies in Marketing with high honors. Committed to her continuous growth and knowledge, Conway is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Corporate Leadership from Alvernia University.
